Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use AI Notely. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

AI Notely is an AI-assisted note-taking product. It lets you capture text, audio, images, and documents, and uses AI to transcribe, summarise, and organise them. Features may change as the product develops.

2. Your account

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content

You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service — to store your content, and to transmit it to our AI processing providers so features like transcription and summarisation can work. We do not use your private notes to train our own models. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use AI Notely to:

• Break the law, or infringe someone else's rights.
• Upload content you have no right to upload.
• Attempt to breach, overload, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
• Abuse automated access in a way that degrades the service for others.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment provider, Paddle, on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refund requests can be sent to [email protected] and are handled in line with applicable consumer law and Paddle's buyer terms.

6. Free plans and limits

Free or trial usage may be subject to limits on volume, file size, or features. We may adjust these limits to keep the service sustainable.

7. AI output

AI-generated transcriptions and summaries can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, particularly for anything important, professional, medical, legal, or financial.

8. Availability

We work to keep AI Notely available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or issues with third-party providers may cause downtime.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, or that put the service or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we will give notice first.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. The date above shows the latest revision, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
